ICT Business Analyst


  • Working with clients including railway operators (who utilize the company’s systems and software solutions) to understand and analyse their business practices and workflows to meet business needs.

  • Establish and maintain contact with relevant representatives within key client organisations.

  • Identifying gaps and / or inefficiencies in customer’s processes that could be solved with the use of the company’s software solutions.

  • Continually provide feedback to the company’s software development department regarding modifications or additional functionalities in order to keep up with user’s requirements and expectations.

  • Finding areas in which the company’s software solutions improved by converting consultations, interviews and collaborative discussions with customers into functional specifications for the company’s software development department.

  • Oversee the deployment of the company’s systems and software solutions into clients’ networks, by taking responsibility for developing and executing test plans and commissioning checks.

  • Assist the company’s training academy in the development of training materials and facilitate / deliver training to clients including railway organisations personnel.

  • Face to Face communication with users relating to needs so as to meet software system and solution requirements.

  • Stay up to date with knowledge about technology changes and developments with regards to the company’s products.

  • Carry out analysis of data from clients’ measurement system databases to identify key data and create specifications around how the company’s central monitoring software should handle such data.

  • Assist with customer technical support.

  • Reviewing of tender specifications and assisting prospective clients to develop general system specifications that suit their individual business requirements.

  • Monitor customer satisfaction and report to Australian Branch Manager and Head of Sales & Marketing when appropriate.

  • Assist in management, planning and resourcing of projects.

  • Assist with Installation and Commissioning Activities when needed.



Skills & Experirience Required:


  • Bachelor Degree Level Education in an Engineering Field



  • At least 3-5 years of railway industry specific skills and experience.

  • Substantial knowledge of Hot Bearing, Hot Wheel and Wheel Impact Load detector systems.



  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook), Microsoft SQL and SAP

  • Strong interpersonal and cross cultural communication skills and ability to work with international clients
